Annie Harton Kassell, MA, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist, author, and speaker based in Indianapolis, Indiana. She offers faith-integrated marriage counseling, couples counseling, and individual therapy in person in Indianapolis and by secure telehealth across Indiana, Ohio, Iowa, South Carolina, New Jersey, Florida, and California.

Annie helps couples who feel stuck, disconnected, or unheard rebuild communication, restore intimacy, and find their way back to each other. She also has a particular heart for women working through identity loss in marriage and motherhood, the quiet sense of feeling unlike yourself somewhere along the way, alongside anxiety, life transitions, and seasons of feeling lost. She welcomes individuals as well as dating, engaged, and married couples.

Her approach draws on Emotionally Focused Therapy to reach the emotions and needs beneath the surface, Narrative Therapy to help you encounter your own story in a new way, and the Gottman Method to help couples build a strong relationship and quiet the patterns that pull them apart. She is trained in the SYMBIS, PREPARE and ENRICH, Gottman Relationship Checkup, and FOCCUS assessments.

A proud alumna of Saint Mary’s College and the University of Notre Dame, Annie also earned an MA in Theology through the Echo Program before her graduate studies in counseling. As a Catholic Christian counselor, she can integrate faith and prayer into sessions whenever you invite it, never as a requirement.
